Software Engineer

Job Duties:
Design, develop, and build
brand-new applications and implement using SQL, Scala, CSS, HTML, Java Script,
AngularJS, ReactJS, REST concepts and Entity framework to display real-time
data. Design and develop server-side components using C#.NET, ASP.NET web API
in a service-oriented architecture. Create stored procedures, triggers, views,
functions and tables and development of database objects using Microsoft SQL
Server. Create and modify SQL Queries whenever required for change
requests/enhancements for transaction management of data. Create libraries from
the existing C# dlls and these dlls are consumed in the Middle Tier
Architecture. Create Report using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Tableau
report. Work on Git and SVN for source code management in software development
and for version control. Create database objects such as tables, views,
procedures, triggers, indexes. Work on optimizing queries (creating temp
tables) for better performance of the reports. Perform unit, system, and
integration testing before development to QA environment. Implement any changes
in the application as per customer needs. Migrate databases from Microsoft SQL
SERVER to Bigdata. Extract data in large volume to load from source to
destination database. Will work in Glastonbury,
CT and/or various client
sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
